Kokosing Gap Trail
- Milling and repaving of the KGT is to begin Wednesday, Sept 2nd at the Mount Vernon terminus.

The entire trail will be resurfaced and sections of the trail will be closed as the work progresses east over the following weeks.

Detours and updates are posted regularly on facebook. Work is weather dependent.

CLOSURE UPDATE 9/2! Repaving began this morning at the Mount Vernon trailhead. The trail will be closed from Mount Vernon Ave to Laymon Road. Detouring the 3.5-mile closure involves using Lower Gambier Road (which parallels the trail), State Highway 229, and Laymon Road. Detour signs are posted.

Hunt House Closure
- Hunt House Trailhead to Beaver Marsh closed. Weekdays only, open on weekends.

Boston Trailhead to Lock 29 in Peninsula: The Towpath Trail between Boston and Peninsula will be closed August 24 – November 20 to replace the Stumpy Basin
boardwalk.

Bank Street Closure
-  Bank Street in Apple Creek will be closed to through traffic between US 250 and Apple Creek Road for 120 days for a bridge replacement project.

Little Miami Scenic Trail
- S. Lebanon Closure - 1 June 2026 - July 2027
Long term Little Miami Scenic Trail (Ohio to Erie Trail) closure for major sewer infrastructure construction project - affects LMST from Stubbs Mill Road south to the Lebanon Spur. At times the spur may be impacted also. Construction dates are from June 2026 - July 2027.

Update from Warren County Engineers Office:  The office will work on installing some signs on the county portion of MMM and on Stubbs Mills if possible to alert motorists to watch for Cyclists on the road. In addition, the city of South Lebanon has positioned their Changeable Message Sign along Stubbs Mill Road with a message about bicycle traffic and will deploy a second sign along MMM when received.
