From the Director's Saddle
Hello Friends of the Trail! Summer is officially in full swing, and the energy along our 326-mile corridor is incredible. This past month has been busy for me—both in the office and out on the trail traveling the state to visit the bike shops and trail advocates who keep riders rolling.
A recent highlight was my trip to Canal Fulton. I had the absolute pleasure of stopping by the Tandem Trail Guesthouse, and I have to give a huge shout-out to Dawn for the tremendous hospitality she showed us. It is passionate, welcoming people like Dawn who make our trail communities feel like home. My wife and I also slipped away for a quick weekend of biking the Great Allegheny Passage out of Ohiopyle, PA. Seeing how different regional trails thrive always sparks fresh inspiration for our own ongoing Trail Town initiatives.
Our goal is to make sure your time on the Ohio to Erie Trail is seamless, supportive, and unforgettable. If you spot me out there this July, please flag me down and say hello!
